For my birthday this year, I’m not asking for gifts — I’m asking for something better.

If you know me, you know how much time I spend on the water. Sailing on Puget Sound isn’t just a hobby for me — it’s where I breathe, where I think, where I feel most alive. The wind, the water, the quiet hum of a hull cutting through the Sound… there’s nothing quite like it.

Footloose Disabled Sailing makes that experience possible for people who would otherwise never get to feel it. They provide adaptive sailing for people with physical and cognitive disabilities — giving them access to something I get to take for granted every time I cast off the dock lines in Gig Harbor.
